The current exhibition on spiritual 'Relics' in the British Museum is fascinating, and beautiful, with even a reference to Feng Shui. I was also reminded once again how architects can occasionally get it completely right. This brilliant (quite literally) idea to cover the museum with glass works on many levels.
The round shape is of the Metal element, which can be seen as a reflection of the sky, or the heavens, like an upturned bowl. White is also a Metal colour. Aspects of Metal include a sense of aesthetics, and of spirituality. It's as if the architect knew what they were doing, which is not always the case!
